I have often seen people wearing Birmingham City shirts and obviously having no shame in doing so. They didn't even have their carers with them

Same with those lot who support a team that goes boing boing that is nearby.

Music festival fans apparently dressed entirely in silver gaffer tape and yellow/black hazard warning tape. The elderly couple opposite watched them get off, then one said to the other "ah, bless".

Some bloke in a full pirate outfit one Sunday morning on the first London train from Stevenage - he sat next to me!

That is not that unusual, there were train loads of them for the Penzance Mazey Day this year

I've caught trains and tubes dressed as a mediaeval knight with plastic sword and in a white 70s flared suit. My wife was also dressed as a mediaeval lady. A young girl sat on the tube (we caught 2 buses, 2 trains, 3 tubes and 1 taxi) opposite turned and said to her mum "When I grow up I'd like to be a princess too".

Was on the Piccadilly line when a troupe of Morris dancers got on in full costume and flagons of ale (pre alcohol ban) and got (almost) everyone to join in their singing.
