Lowestoft is the only station name which doesn't foul the 5-character limit as it has 5 or more letters in its name?

Lowestoft is the only one whose direct train service to Harwich International is timed to connect into the Stena Line ferry service?

Reading is the only one which is currently electrified (DC), the others are planned to be AC electrified but are not currently so?

Newport is the only one with numbered platforms starting at 1 that are in a logical order.
Cardiff has a platform 0, Reading a platform 16 which is between 8 & 9 and Bristol Parkway are numbered 2-4.

You are very close.

They have all had platforms added but have missing numbers except Newport.

Newport had an additional platform number 4 and now has platforms 1 - 4.
Cardiff had 0 added and has 0 - 7 but no 5
Bristol Parkway has one added but now has 2 - 4 and no 1
Reading has 1 - 16 but loads missing between 9 and 16.

Burnley Manchester Road is the only one which isn't directly linked to any other station in the same settlement as itself?

Manchester Road is the main station in Burnley, all the others are the 'second' station.
