Wasn't Guide Bridge DC at first, as part of the Woodhead route? This change to AC is certainly unique - for now at least - among this group.

You're getting tantalisingly close without quite getting there.
Guide Bridge isn't the odd man out either.

Bathgate is the only one to see electrification done during the post-privatisation era?*

*Granted, it's actually a new Bathgate station that got electrified, as the old one was closed, but you get the idea...

Bathgate - the only one that has never had D.C. overheads ?

Bathgate - The only one not to have had both AC and DC electrification.

That's so close I'll give you it. (and it may be true - see end)
Bathgate has only had 25KV overhead, the others have had 2 different types of electrification.

Victoria had LBSCR's 6600V AC overhead then SR's standard third rail DC
Guide Bridge had 1500V DC, then 25KV AC overhead
Chelmsford was to have had 1500V DC overhead but it was changed to 6.25KV AC overhead, then became 25KV overhead. AFAIK Chelmsford was never actually live at 1500V DC unless you know better.

I know no better, but thanks for letting me be correct enough :D

All have a very limited service but British Steel Redcar also has no public access

That can't be right; services inevitably reverse at Heysham Port as it is the terminus for the line...

Fine Coombe Junction Halt the only one that sees Services reversing that come in having served a different station before reversing to the one that is served after reversing?

Not what I was looking for. It's to do with the services at the station

I think Heysham Port could be a bit misleading, so I'd like to replace it with Elton & Orston

British Steel Redcar is a station a normal 'user' would travel TO and then return later in the day

The others a normal user would leave FROM then return later in the day

if that makes sense

Makes sense, but more complicated than I was looking for and it's not British Steel redcar

OK another guess - Coombe has no lighting so trains can only call in daylight

(though I'm not sure how Heysham would have related to this)

Well Coombe has two trains a day each way - the others have one (or less)

Here's one I prepared earlier and put on the wrong quiz

Combe gets only a parliamentary service, whereas the others are served by most or all of the Cotswold Line services?

Honeybourne has had double track reinstated, the others are on single track sections.

Correct - though I was intending to express it in terms of number of platforms

The Combe answer, had I been after it, could also be expressed in terms of not having routine HST calls

over to you

Anerley, Argyle Street, Cathcart, Deansgate something to do with railway structures / fixtures that can be seen from the station platforms.

NB please note that I will be offline until Saturday evening due to class 67 bashing / track bashing in the Knottingley area.

Anerley as it is the only one to have a footbridge to connect platforms (Argyle street+ Catchcart are island platforms and Deansgate you have to return to street level)

Just to clarify I was thinking of a structure beyond the vicinity of the station which is visible from the platform

Deansgate the only one from which you can see the lines for a metro system.

Not the answer I was looking for. There's something you can see from three of the stations but not the other one.

Cathcart is the only one from which you can't see the approaching train when it is stopped at the next station down the line?
