I believe the code for Fellgate is actually a National Rail one. Others such as JAW for Jarrow are obviously only used by Metro, in fact I believe FGT is the Metro code for Fellgate.

I have enbolded the section in the above which shows that no Northern Rail trains actually stop at Fellgate station. If they did, the code for that station would indeed be valid, but they do not do so.
