Swansea is mainly ATW offices from what I've seen. Swanwick has a restaurant in it.

Welshpool shop and factory outlet with a cafe. Not on the platform now as the tracks were slewed away from it with an island platform

Woodbridge is a café and B&B. Melton, to the north, is a farm shop.

Alton (Staffs) is holiday accommodation.

Kidsgrove is unusual as I think it's still entirely in railway use.

Carnforth has been turned into the recreation of a film set.................

And there's a model railway shop on the old main line platform, together with a micro brewery, offices, and a portrait photography studio (used to be an old fashioned sweet shop but that didn't last long).

Sunderland Station building is a toilet.

Which is quite something, considering it doesn't have any.

Berkhamsted's station building now houses a nursery and a chippy.

Bricket Wood's empty building has had various plans over the years, a curry house and a community cafe were once planned but never came to fruition.

Atherstone's building is now a vets.

Micropub / Model Railway Shop / Clock Repairer / Town planners

Former occupants include photography studio, dress agency, clothes shop, rug shop. Sweet shop was a very very long time ago.

.

Maybe a 'Night of the Demons' theme café/bar (a la Carnforth) may work.

Halifax's main building sits on a disused island platform and is now in use as a daycare centre run by EUREKA, the national children's museum. It did sit unused for decades, so ironic that now they're turned it over to other use and built out onto the platform, they're now talking about bringing the platform into use.

Seacroft (on the Skegness branch) station building was turned into a pet crematorium after closure. It burned down one night.

The building at the front of Manchester Victoria station remains empty, It needs millions spending on it. I went for a job interview up there many moons ago, The rooms are a throwback to the 1960s. Now more trains are calling at Victoria I would love to see that beautiful building turned into a hotel.

There’s a rather good curry house at Dore and Totley. Word is the guard used to hold the train to pick up his/her dinner in days gone by.

A very popular café at Grindleford, does a good breakfast!

A small railway museum has opened at Harwich Town. A hairdressers and beauty salon has recently opened at Mistley.

The GA franchise is different in that the TOC has responsibility for station buildngs rather than NR. This appears to be a better arrangement as occupation of the station buildings, even by a non railway related business, makes the station a more pleasant environment than a boarded up building. GA are actively looking for partners to inhabit other disused station buildings.

I remember seeing a lot of bricked up buildings on the Ely-Ipswich, Ely-Norwich lines. Always fancied a snoop, wondered if there were old railway gems left around. I find that idea fascinating. Old schools interest me for the same reason.
I always wonder what's behind the door...

Codsall's station building is now a pub, and Aberdyfi's is in use as 'private residence' (having previously been converted into holiday accommodation)

Porthmadog's station building is now a pub. As is the one at Weston-super-Mare if I remember correctly.

It's a very attractive building. Seems a shame to see it go to waste.

The ones nearest to Norwich (Wymondham and Attleborough) have had tenants for years, but further towards Ely you are right they are all boarded up (some with murals). Ely seems some what under utilised too, lots of buildings but other than a pokey waiting room and office/shelter for the platform staff not a lot going on.

The original Alexandra Palace station (i.e. the one attached the the palace itself, not the ECML station down the hill that's now called Alexandra Palace) is now a community centre
