Penshurst is also a two-platform station on the Redhill to Tonbridge line that was opened in 1842 by the South Eastern Railway, which has a DfT category rating of F1 and is now managed by Southern.
Mills Hill and Walsden were stations that were re-opened by their respective PTE, but whilst Walsden was re-opened in 1990 (closed 1961), the one at Mills Hill which was re-opened in 1985,had a far greater period of closure, as it was originally closed in 1842 ( a closure period of no less than 143 years)...hock:
