Headcorn is another two platform station which opened in 1842 that is on a third rail electrified line with direct services to Tonbridge.

the nearest station on the West Yorkshire side to the Summit Tunnel on the ex L&Y line.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Mills Hill and Walsden were stations that were re-opened by their respective PTE, but whilst Walsden was re-opened in 1990 (closed 1961), the one at Mills Hill which was re-opened in 1985,had a far greater period of closure, as it was originally closed in 1842 ( a closure period of no less than 143 years)...:shock:
