Sturry is also a station with two platforms managed by Southeastern.
Doncaster is another eight platform station which has a direct service to London and is served by CrossCountry among others.
I think that you will find that London Paddington has rather more than eight platforms.
I think this was in relation to Bristol :P
He had amended this entry during the time that I made my posting....hence the quote included the "strike-through".
London Euston is also a major London terminus.
Manchester Victoria is also served by the Manchester Metrolink system
I am still waiting for this one to be answered from posting # 5086 (the first posting on this page)
Huddersfield was the relation to Manchester Victoria.
London Kings Cross, the terminus of the East Coast Main Line, with direct services from Newcastle, KGX also being an East Coast hub, also has 12 platforms.
The problem here was three very closely related geographical-related stations that were made in three consecutive postings:-
# 5084 = Stockport
# 5085 = Manchester Piccadilly
# 5086 = Manchester Victoria
Both Huddersfield and Stockport were then named in the following posting # 5087
Truro is also served by a sleeper train.
Woking Also on SWT with six platforms, with four through lines and a bay at each end.
