The station in Manchester and an underground line in London share the name Piccadilly — the Piccadilly line interchanges with the NR network at Finsbury Park.

Kensington Olympia also has one Southern service a day to Wandsworth Road, a parliamentary service (obviously not including the hourly Milton Keynes to Croydon service).

Ormskirk - rolling stock needs to take a long deviation to get from from one part of the station to the other

Kirkby is another station where the electric Merseyrail trains and diesel Northern Rail trains are separated on arrival by a large buffer (a two platform station, although merged into one).
