Sherburn-in-Elmet was part of the Kingdom of Elmet, that was invaded and conquered in 616AD by Northumbria, as was Leeds.
Newark Castle a station with castle in the name that is next to a castle ( and a bous point to anyone who can work out an anagram of Newark)
Newbury was the scene of an English Civil War battle(1643) as was Nantwich (1644)
There was also a second battle of Newbury 1n 1644.
The archery club in Leamington Spa is called the "Royal Leamington Spa Archery Club". There is a "Royal Richmond Archery Club" in RichmondLeamington Spa - has two through platforms and two centre roads
Gunnersbury has heavy rail and LU District Line services in its area, as does Richmond.
Wolverhampton - also used be called "High Level" and no longer is.
