St Budeaux Ferry Road is also a two platform station with a separate access to each platform directly from a road overbridge, with no cross platform access except via the road bridge

Like Barrhill, Tisbury is also a surviving station where the next stations on either side were closed during the Beeching era

Penryn is also the site of an unconventional passing loop on a single track line (Tisbury's being outside the station, Penryn's being shorter than the platform)

Dovey Junction also has a what was previously one platform re-engineered to allow two trains to pass using the same platform face
