When originally opened Seer Green and Jordons was named 'Beaconsfield Golf Links Halt, until it was re-named in December 1918.

Another station on the Chiltern Main Line which still retains a golfing association in its name is Denham Golf Club.

To be a tad pedantic, the following applies to Matlock Bath station....
Opened by the Manchester, Buxton, Matlock and Midland Junction Railway on 4th June 1849
Closed on 6th March 1967
Re-opened on 27th May 1972
Fair enough! Would you be happy to accept it....or would you prefer to continue from Bristol Parkway with a different station?

Continuing from Bristol Parkway, Newport (South Wales) is also a four platform station which is served by CrossCountry and GWR....although in this case it is also served by TfW.

After Sandhills, the former Liverpool, Crosby and Southport Railway (LC&SR), now Merseyrail's Northern Line, branches off towards Southport; the first station on this line is Bank Hall.
