Not sure if we are now at Coatbridge Central or Newcastle:-?

In which case we will head towards a station which has an association with both of the above - Barrow-in-Furness lost its overnight sleeper service in the 1980s.

Lincoln Central - a station i'll be at later
*picks up coat*

Lincoln Central - also has a rather indirect service to London

How the heck did you guys manage to offer Lincoln twice in two hours? There are more than 2,500 others out there, and that's before counting the ~500 others when including Metros and trams!

So we're on Barrow at the minute then?

Let's go for Crewe. Another station which has some kind of link to Thomas the Tank Engine!

(Barrow is the mainland link to the Isle of Sodor; Crewe is the first real location named in the TV series. Blame my brother )

Telford Central - The 'new town' of Telford has links with a real life Thomas

Bearley - sorry I couldn't resist the Paddington Bear theme (and the second children's TV programme to be mentioned on this thread today). And Bearley used to be in GWR territory.

Then let's make it three children's television programmes for the day! And where else can we go, but...

Wimbledon

You know for saying British Steel Redcar is a fairly insignificant station it doesn't half crop up regularly on this thread!

Scunthorpe - Also deals in steel.

Manchester Piccadilly - The other terminus of the Woodhead Line. Now I know this is a bit of a cheeky one (seeing as the Sheffield above I assume doesn't relate to Victoria) but I'm going for it anyway. If anyone objects then by all means skip over this and continue from the post above.

Let's go for one that matches both.

Newcastle. Another city that is home to a major United Football Club.

Death must be a closet West Sham fan. He's mentioned it twice <(

I agree that Orient should have had the Olympic Stadium, but I would still choose those idiots at Upton Park ahead of Spurs to "win" the stadium post-2012. In pretty much every other way though, I would quite happily see Spurs whip those cheating scum. Enjoy the Championship next year, suckers! :D

Back on track then: Lichfield City. Any guesses why?

Hope you are not talking about Leyton Orient. Getting into the Championship would be a good thing and it's not impossible now if the current run continues.

Of course not! I mean the cheating, scheming, good-for-nothing scum a few miles away who play in claret and blue. Are you a fan of Orient then?

Penmaenmawr - Another Welsh station! :)

And no, I'm not a Hammers fan (Though I used to be!)...I just tend to post the first thing that comes to mind, and West Ham is easy to make links with. :?

"USED" to be is bad enough! <(

I shall provide

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Another Welsh station that a non-speaker of Welsh who doesn't know his/her geography would fail to spell correctly!

P.S.: I copied its name from Wikipedia. I can't spell it either :(
