Between Twyford and Henley-on-Thames stations, there are two intermediate stations: Shiplake and Wargrave. The same situation persists on the branch line between Maidenhead and Bourne End, the origin of which (Maidenhead) is a stop away from Twyford on the Great Western Main Line. These two branches are therefore diagrammatically identical. Continuing this line of logic, Maidenhead on the Bourne End branch corresponds to Twyford on the Henley-on-Thames branch. Shiplake corresponds to Furze Platt, and Wargrave corresponds to Cookham.
