It is well-known that there are numerous stations with "Ealing" in the name. There are even more stations named "Acton"; an example is Acton Central.
I post this extract from the rules of this particular quiz for the benefit of new contributors.Note that you should only reply with a station on the main BR network (e.g. not Underground or Preserved Railway) that is still open.
Cheshunt is also a DfT category C2 station that was opened in 1846.Zone 3 has not many level crossings; there is one at Acton Central, but almost all are beteeen Barnes and Mortlake. (There are three on that section.)
Another station which owes its name to the presence of a football club is The Hawthorns, being named after the football ground of West Bromwich Albion. It is sometimes incorrectly claimed that Ardwick is closed or has no service. In reality, there are four trains per day, meaning it is not even the least frequently served station in Manchester - that title goes to Manchester United Football Ground, which has not seen a service call for several years, despite still nominally being open.
