Duddeston station in Birmingham was opened by the London and North Western Railway on 1st March 1869, when it was called Vauxhall. It was renamed Vauxhall and Duddeston on 1st November 1889 and Duddeston on 6th May 1974.

Sudbury Hill Harrow is also a two platform station built by a company serving London Marylebone.

Bures is also the penultimate station on a branch line where there are a further five miles to the terminus.
