A basic hourly service operates in each direction from Ravenglass, although one northbound train terminates at Sellafield rather than running through to Carlisle.
Pontarddulais station has one remaining active platform, which has a section raised to assist passengers boarding or alighting. This is known as "The Harrington Hump", and is a modular and easy-to-install system by which the height of a railway platform can be increased at relatively low cost. The system takes its name from Harringtonstation, the location of the first production version.
Weybridge is another station where you can travel to a destination via two seperate routes (Radyr to Cardiff via Cathays or the City Line; Weybridge to Waterloo via Hounslow or Surbiton).
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
