Carlisle is the last major station on the West Coast Main Line before the Anglo-Scottish border. By contrast, Newcastle is the equivalent for the East Coast Main Line.

London Blackfriars is also (as is Portsmouth Harbour) situated on a bridge above a stretch of tidal water.

Stansted Airport is Also at a Airport owned by Manchester Airports Group

Skegness also has a Butlins in the area
This being the Station Association quiz, the associations between stations have to be railway related. These last couple aren't. There is another quiz (the Settlement Association quiz) which exists and may be of interest.

Hopefully not too similar to ones we've done before. I say a station and the person below would say another station that has something in common with it. It doesn't have to be unique, but try and make it as different as possible and please ensure that all associations are rail related: a separate game (The Settlement Association quiz) exists for non rail related links. Note that you should only reply with a station on the main BR network (e.g. not Underground or Preserved Railway) that is still open.

Perhaps an opportune time to show the above for the sake of new forum members wishing to participate upon this quiz.
