Liverpool Lime Street (upper level) is another Category A station served primarily by Northern, managed by Network Rail which does not have automatic ticket gates, is also served by direct services to Wigan, Preston, Birmingham, London and Norwich, is the busiest station in its city, is also a Grade II listed building, was another station on the LMR that later formed part of the Grand Junction Railway; now the WCML; has its "last train" in the early hours of the morning, sees both Pacers and Pendolinos on a frequent basis, is entirely Disabled Accessible, oh and it, like MAN, also sees me on a weekly basis 8-)

Part of me wonders how a station can be accessible for the disabled when it is served by Pacers! :D

On a slightly more comical association, Appleby, like Liverpool Lime Street, also has a fruit connection in it's name!

Ruskington is another station at which all trains normally stop, but which occasionally sees diverted East Coast trains passing through.
