Because Bucknall station is unstaffed, it has the same range of amenities as others on the Heart of Wales Line (for example Llanbister Road), i.e. CIS display screen, customer help point, waiting shelter and timetable information board.
Banavie station was the location of an LNER Camping Coach from 1936 to 1939. Roy Bridge station was also the location of a coach over roughly the same period (1935 to 1939).
Garelochhead (incidentally spelled with two 'h's) used to have a turntable at the North end of the station on the Down side of the line....as did Garsdale (formerly Hawes Junction).
