Brockholes is also a single-platform station that was opened by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway in 1850 and was also served by a long-closed branch line.
Barrow Haven is another station which is only served by one company on a regular basis, with no freight and only a six-monthly test train and very occasional railtours providing variety.
Being situated on a triangular junction, Dinting once had platforms on all three sides. Shipley is also on a triangular junction, but has platforms on all three sides.
Bulwell formerly had a PlusBus scheme, but this was withdrawn in 2012 due to low usage. Another station that no longer accepted PlusBus tickets from the same date was Tame Bridge.
