Not Stagecoach, but kinda relevant for locals.

They seem rather obsessed with ASDA! That'll be the 3rd of 5 commercially operated CityHopper routes to terminate there.

I don't understand this obsession with ASDA either. Never seems to be many passengers for ASDA on Reays or Stagecoach buses whenever I am up there.

I also note from the last N & P a new operating centre for Reays:

REAYS COACHES LTD, STRAWBERRY FIELDS, SYKE PK , WIGTON CA7 9NE

New operating centre: 3, HILLCREST AVENUE CARLISLE CA1 2QJ (0 vehicle(s), 0 trailer(s))
New authorisation at this operating centre will be: 14 vehicle(s), 0 trailer(s)

47024, 47059 (With Richie B driving) and 47060 on 46/46A/47.
20473 Moorclose 50.
20923 Moorclose 51.
20945 on Sellafield, Showing off it's newly trimmed seats.
20436 on X5, with 53337 was on annexe, but left out of service (Knackered Tachograph)
34218 on short "West Coast Connect."
22600 on 30/31 still sounding like a bomb.
22597 also on, with the silly 1 L.E.D light in the top corner boards in window.
There 3 childish kids at the back of 47024 banging on window's graffiting seats...bloody idiots.

...and does anyone have any ideas when 20436 will be withdrawn?
It's a bloody ramshattle lol.

33172 has joined sister 33171 in the yard at Morecambe. Also one of the former Lincolnshire Roadcar Darts from Preston (33203 I think) has also joined them, 14195 is also back on the death row after being parked down the front for a few weeks, complete with "vehicle in store, do not use" on the front windscreen.
To clear up why vehicles in Stagecoach livery had "on loan to Ribble Motor Services" in their windows, it appears the legal lettering has changed from Ribble Motor Services to Stagecoach Ribble on recent repaints. Whether this is an error or a change in name is unknown, however its likely the OL (green) discs will read Ribble Motor Services, these have an expiry date on them like your tax disc and must match the legal lettering. So instead of going to the cost of buying a set of new discs with only a few months left to run on the old ones, a way round it is stating the vehicle being "on loan," these signs will be removed when the new OL discs arrive

I can see Morecambe getting a whole lot busier soon! Especially when the E300s start arriving, but even before then....

I god damn hope that Morecambe's E300's are better than Lillyhall's E300's Lillyhall's (Branding for 30/31) are terrible. Lillyhall's MAN E300 PX08 CTK 22600 is sounding the worst of the lot, It's tacho'd for 301 and 600. I wish they'd put it's tacho into a better MAN like 22607 that's my best MAN E300. The best one of a bad batch!

Yes, but I'm not sure I want to spoil your surprise.....
Let's just say that the sequence starts somewhere between 27740 and 27745

18381 & 20131 on X22 this morning, normally a Solo & B10M.
22824 on the X1 which is normally worked by a Solo which then go onto 7's.
It was odd seeing a MAN on 7's today!

Don't know who the inspector was yesterday & again day at the Bus Stn, that kept telling intending passengers false information.

Yes. Morecambe have the first E300s of the 2011 order (NE and Merseyside's are tag-ons to 2010)
Kendal have the first Scania/E400s of 2011 order, even though they won't be delivered till October.

KendalKing - Little Dave was at the Bus Station today if memory serves...

We personly think that we some more PO51 reg solo's like 47018 which is in Barrow Reserve. or even 47022 which I think was withdrawed from Preston a few month ago? And why couldn't 20945 get the high backed seating like Carlisle's 20904 did?

47022 won't be coming to Lillyhall. It is in service in Preston for now.
20904 only got the high back seats, because the bench seats from it were being used in the open top Oly's for Seatoller's. Both of the Oly's had high back seats, which were just retrimmed and put into 20904.

47062 on town evening services. Not sure if it was just a fast driver, or if it is actually working well for a change, but it went rather nicely up the little hill into town by the police station, I was right behind it and it stuck to 30mph the way up it! Can remember before the floods, following a PO51 up there, dropped from 30 to 20!

I doubt 47022 will make its way back to Lancaster when it leaves Preston. My bet is on it going to Cumbria but we'll see. Not really sure what you meant by this comment in relation to 51 reg solos...

Correct! It is being prepared for service attttt.......Carlisle! May be out in service on Monday if all is well. It is down at the depot now I'm told by a fellow forum member  Just hope they don't try squeeze it around 77/77A! It's wider than the mini Darts...

Allocation of the day goes to mini Dart 34218 on 30 and 31!!!!!
20962 replaced 16441 on 30/31. 16733 replaced 22600, which cut out on its way to the bus station, then later started up! 34616 on 30/31 too. 22610 starting to sound very like 22600. On the topic of 22600, again, its engine bay was opened up in the bus station before it went to Maryport. It was returning from Maryport when it cut out.
20473 short 300.
47005 on Moorclose 50.
47060 on Moorclose 51.
47023, 47024 and 47059 on Harrington & Seaton.
20994 and 52628 were both X4. 20994 replaced on 1210 by 53336.
All 4 Scania's on 300.
16184 done 48's this morning. Then went staff shuttle to Maryport.

That was a timely guess! I would have said it would go to LL or KL not CE so that's surprised me!

21005 on X1
21007 on short 3
16664 and 40033 at the Uni.

Indeed 47022 is being prepared for service at Carlisle today. 33161 should be at Preston in exchange from what I hear.

20895 & 20979 have moved from the dead corner onto the pit, likely having a service before going to Lillyhall for storage.

52414 looks to have seen some use.

33076 & 34214 were the Citi spares today while 16355 was on the 685! Presumably 33162 in Annan with 34048 and 47721 at Penrith still.

The 2 Western Coaches have vanished but could be in the bodyshop.

20965 still going strong on service 38 and 20959 on service 93 with a makeshift blind in the window.

Lillyhall had 20910 and 20436 on the 600.

All of the Carlisle Coaches were out but no idea what 52629 was on. Possibly either 600 or 79/179.

Apart from that a very boring day! All Citi routes were Citi Darts for the first time for months!

Still a mystery where these Western coaches are going! Trainers?
