Carlisle stuff is the exact same as yesterday then. Solo on the pit at Carlisle presumably 47721. I was going to go out this morning but it was that black I would of needed a torch!

Im wondering if they are using the Solo on the 685 instead of the 69 due to how busy it gets on the 38 on the peak time run the 69 board does?

Stagecoach Manchester's new Depot at Sharston has now opened and Princess Road Depot has closed most of the buses have moved to Sharston but i think some have gone to Hyde Road

19489/490/491/492/493/494/495/496/497/498/499/500, 19502/503/532/533/534, all 'officially' moved to HE, 22808 moving from HE to PS. Also 16087/189 placed in Reserve.

The rest of the PS fleet moved to Sharston (SH), although SH should now have 2 'taxis', 49752 and 60013.

Signs have gone up on Durranhill Road in Carlisle telling of closure for 1 week starting on 21st March. Can't see any mention on the Stagecoach website, even though the closure will affect the 76 (and 75 on evenings and Sundays)

Speaking (metaphorically) of the 76, I note that off-peak journeys to Durranhill which generally arrive at Cumrew Close between 10 and 15 minutes before departure time are continuing around Durranhill estate showing "Drop Off Only" before returning to Cumrew Close terminus to wait for departure time to St Anns Hill.

The X4 service is no longer being scrapped.
Summer only X58 will still operate down the X4 route, in addition to the X4 Workington - Keswick.
Both X4 and X5 will be changing to X50 at Keswick, for onward travel to Penrith.

And Andrew the X4 won't be withdrawn, this is the updated route change for it

X4, X5 Workington – Cockermouth – Keswick – Penrith
These services will be revised to become:
X4, X5 Workington – Cockermouth – Embleton – Bassenthwaite or Braithwaite – Keswick
with guaranteed connections at Keswick for
X50 Keswick – Threlkeld – Penruddock – Stainton – Penrith
In order to ensure that we can continue to effectively operate this bus service, route X4/X5 will be split into two sections, operating Workington to Keswick and then Keswick to Penrith. Customers should note that they will still be able to purchase through-tickets and will not even have to change bus in Keswick, as the buses will simply change their number at the bus station.

At the same time, we will be revising the route and timetable to improve reliability. We are taking the opportunity to try and improve train connection opportunities at Penrith, connection opportunities with the 555 at Keswick and there will be an improved early morning and late evening service for Stainton, following customer requests. Most buses will also operate via Stainton on Sundays too.

Yeah I said It was about time to see some changes, I know we're keeping it It's a scenic route but We need some changes.
