Very true.

I don;t think whatever they are are coming to ME as I don't think ME would apply for new buses for the 40/41 if they were getting new stuff in Easter. I really don't know lol.

16668 and Tridents on 2/2a
21007 out and about on the 3/4
20795 on the X1.

Gez what kind of decker has Ms Barber requested for the 40/41 or has she just put in a general bid for anything?

OK, I was wrong about 18354, it's in a right state;
No heat this morning
4 lights out upstairs (vibration made 2 come on)
Throttle govenors need replaced (when being speed limited, instead of smooth power take up it was very jerky)
Tatty vinlys

In short, expect it at Morecambe soon.

Oh dear doesn't sound good at all! It seems they are replacing every piece of these Tridents bit by bit be it rear axles or throttle governors!

Indeed, which is why I hope these surprise new arrivals are something more suitable for the 555....

Well if the 555 does get something new then surely some of KL's ruined tridents will end up at ME...

Can anyone advise what contracts Carlisle and Lillyhall depots (both work and schools) currently run?

It would be sensible to send some Tridents to Carlisle for the 554, then thr route would be LF throughout, with the balance going to Morecambe to replace Leyland/Volvo Olmypians,

14208 on the 2a along with 17023 and 22823.

Yes Tridents for the 554 would be good whats the route like? How many Tridents do KL have?

Cool well I hope they have time to do repaint or seats or something. It could really do with a repaint but its whether they can afford to take it off the road or not I suppose.

Wonder if they will still place a Hanover in one of the H reg's Leylands...

47617 on 50.
47060 on 51.
47006, 47007 and 47059 on Harrington, 101 and 30S.

a knackered 47005 was sat on annexe with passengers on.

a totally knackered 22600 was took back to Lillyhall by a "spare" driver, making a horrible screechy grinding noise! when he started it up on the annexe, i thought it was 47005 doing its usual loud engine noises, but turned out to be 22600!

Major change to service 75 in Carlisle

Service 75: Bridge End - Cummersdale - Carlisle - Wetheral - Cotehill, will be taken over by Reays with effect from Monday 8th February 2010, with a revised timetable, under contract to Cumbria County Council.
Stagecoach will continue to provide the Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday timetable without any changes. The Stagecoach range of tickets will not be valid for travel on the Reays journeys and the Stagecoach 75 Routerider ticket will be discontinued.
Reays Coaches will offer their own service 75 Routerider at £11 (also valid on the Stagecoach evening/Sunday buses).

brilliant! <(
lucky i didn't buy a Carlisle UniRider then! seeing as 75 is the only bloody Carlisle route i use!!! <(
