I saw the failed Trident at the Uni gates too this afternoon, but didnt get its number.

20451 on a 4.
14196 on a 42.

Tonight I finally saw workmen working on the Aldcliffe Rd/Penny St Bridge farce for the very first time! I was starting to think they had forgotten about it!

20451 having another stint on the 4 this afternoon in Bowerham. Is Lancaster hard up for low floor buses at the moment? there seem to be a few step entrance buses covering LF duties recently.

Some are V.O.R plus with the traffic in lancaster they are using what they can to keep up with service.:D

17060 and 17061 both in Carlisle this afternoon. they are from Stagecoach in Gloucester, being transferred to somewhere in Scotland. drivers from the Scottish depot are apparently collecting them from Carlisle.
Chorley's 18158 appeared in Carlisle, was taken through the bus wash, and then went straight into the paintshops and started to get rubbed down.

34689, 34705, 10179, 33162, 14232 and 34715 in workshop area. 34715 was being partially repanelled.
20924 and 20305 in paintshops, along with 18158.
one of Enviro 300's in the shed, along with one of AD122 vinyled ALX100's, and a corporate liveried ALX100 (didnt see reg or number). 16329 was also in there.
14203, 20435, paramount trainer, and Osprey Bus around the edge of the depot.

42025's display has broke. it was stuck on 101, but it was on 93.
34048 was on 101.
33076 on 69.
a 67 / 68 branded Dart running as staff shuttle, and Citi branded dart on 67 / 68.
a few other Citi branded Darts were flying around on route branded routes.
20959 on 600.
42584, 20977 and 42533 were on layover at Carlisle bus station.
14254 on Brampton 685.
looked like 14265 on 554.

16734 on 300.

Nothing much special today;
16660 on 1610 55A
18354 (Miss Potter) on 1620 555...smelling VERY oily indeed. It gets worse every time I get on.

I would like to congratulate Gez on his very effective winding of 17017s blinds, changing both blinds simultaneously to 42 Blackpool.

16669 has arrived back at Chorley, and is now free of the 68 branding due to its repaint, 18150 was due to go back to Carlisle as a replacement, but a 'technical fault' caused 18158 to go instead (as cainebj reported), all tridents need to be debranded and maybe all repainted pretty soon.

Tomorrow (Thurs), a Trident (Possibly 18156) will go to Preston as a swap for a Scania Enviro (Possibly 15466) so that Chorley can set about type training its drivers now that the arrival of the new Enviro's are 'imminent' (allegedly leaving Falkirk on the 13th ready for final preparations to be completed - it may be possibly they will arrive for service a few days earlier than the anticipated 23rd)

I would have thought the Scania/E400 would be 15466, as that's the only non-branded one.

Can I just point out that I've changed the link to the fleetlists and refurb trackers that I host. They can all now be found here

Thanks

I'm told it is, but to cover myself from any last minute changes, i now include the word possibly... example being that 18150 should now be at Carlisle being repainted, but unforeseen circumstances dictated otherwise.. can't be accused of any 'misleading information' ;)

Yes, but you've got to be pretty stupid to take word on an internet forum as gospel tbh.

All the regular contributers to this thread know that, and frankly, anyone who really needs this information seriously would get it officially, rather than through a forum!

Indeed.

Look forward to seeing those Enviro's when they arrive.

There have been a lot of step entrances on low floor services such as 14196 and 16660 on the 2 yesterday. Was also a solo on the 4.

20735 on the 40 and 16663 on the 2a.

20735 is being used to try and provide a reasonable flow of buses on routes.

The reason there's so many step entrances about is because of the appaulling traffic.

Indeed all destination blinds working as well lol. Also noted today the rear display screen on 16662 has been replaced by a small red plate. They are black on the others. Not interesting but caught my eye lol.

So i sit on some information for a few days, and of course as soon as i release the information, it bloody well changes...!!!

So, the bus transfer is off.. due to the fact that the Enviro's wont be available for service until November 1st, thats when the registration kicks in, when the buses arrive after release on the 13th, they will be prep'd and parked, and a decision over whether or not we can use one of them for type training has yet to be made..

And the above VOSA notings are all linked in with the loss of the 124's, so other services can be scheduled to link with each other

20735 wasnt on service when noted yesterday, being road tested, not in very good nick, but as Dllamad saw made it onto 40 this pm, 20894 was also swapped with a double deck working at Heysham and spent the afternoon on 2As,
22809 is also back on the road spending the afternoon on Westgates
A rare working I'm suprised nobody noted was an MAN at Ingleton out station, working the 1715 up on Saturday teatime, and stopping on the duty until dinner time Monday

You beat me to it Gez! I was going to say that I saw a very shiny 22809 on a 6A this evening.

Hardly surprising that 20735 isn't healthy - Kendal maintainence + neglect when they knew it was going to be sold = poor running bus.

I wouldn't have thought 20894 is going to be permanantly at Morecambe...Barrow are supposed to be having it.
I daresay as it's in reserve while other things get sorted out (CE's E300s bedded down, disposal of other B10Ms), Morecambe will be using it to try and mitigate the effects of the ridiculous roadworks.

20735 and 20894 are here for around four weeks until, as MB says until the roadworks end.
We have today stopped going around the town centre loop heading into town to try and keep the Morecambe direction services running a bit nearer time, stopping instead at Queens Sqaure and China Street
