Due to having just done two night duties (Late Private Hires), I have not seen much.

30342 was on Kendal Town services this afternoon.

33167 on Moorclose 51 this morning.
20779 on the morning Cockermouth X5, later on BNG.
40028 on the busy morning Seaton 47.
40651 also on Harrington & Seaton routes this morning.
52635 on day trip to Newcastle and The Metro Centre.
20129 and 20752 on 31's, along with 25225 and 3 Enviro 300's, so a missing E300 and dart.
40033 on Moorclose Circular 50 now, well, it was when i was on my way home.
42566 on Harrington & Seaton earlier, around 4:05 i saw it heading to bus station with "Seaton 47" on display.
34079 was on annexe when i got back, with "Seaton 47" on display.
buses on 31 running late.
14233, 14258 and another H reg oly on school work at St Benedicts after school. the other H reg had a blank display, and it was running the Frizington route (well, "Woodend 33D" as its shown on display).

20131 running around with a blank display earlier on, no idea wha route it was on as it wasnt carrying window boards.
17024 on the 2A closely followed by an UID 18xxx near the Shrimp roundabout.

Other buses seen werent doing anything out of the ordinary so didnt take much note, things certainly have calmed down at ME for now until the next vehicle shortage that is.......

noted on the Stagecoach website that May day brings the usual provision of a Sunday service throughout the North West except on Carlisles cross border services 79 and 80.

14259 on D6 today with the normal lot for the rest of the Dallam Services.

21003 on the 3 and 20544 in the 2 with MAN 22818 on the 40. Also noted 17024 on the 2a this morning as mentioned by driver 9000 and as well as 17019.

Haven't been into Kendal today so haven't seen anything from up there.

Also whenever I see 20661 I also get confused because its number plate is K791 DAO so I always think its fleet number is 20791 lol.

Last thing is the new issue of SC internal newspaper is out if anyone's interested. Follow the link

The X35 branded Tridents were on the X35's today.
18327 on the 755 Morecambe service.
No signs of the three short Marshall bodied darts 33164-33166, these had been earmarked for transfer to Lillyhall.
Long Marshall bodied dart 33173 on afternoon 445 QKS - Bowston (Normally a B10M)

The reason K 790/1 DAO aquired fleet nos. 20660/1 was because they went to SC South, were they became 660/1. When the numbers were standardised, these became 20660/1. This also avoid a conflict between N 790 VRM.

Oh yeah I think we have discussed this on here before lol.

SC in Manchester have put in an order for 88 new vehicles this year to go with the 100 new vehicles they ordered last year. Hopefully this may mean some cast offs for us up here but we shall see.

Well if you want Darts, Varios and 709Ds, you'll love them!
Step entrances left in Manchester (not including Magicbus or trainers)

15381/4 (Scania N113DRB)

15995/6 (DAF DE02RSDB250)

16004-7, 16085/7/90, 16103, 16187/8, 16768 (Volvo Oly)

20882, 20906-9, 20916/8/9 20920/2/3/5-7/9, 20932/3/6-9, 20941/6-58, 20961-8, 20974-6/8, 20981-4 (Volvo B10M)

26128 (DAF DE02GSSB220)

32048 (Dennis Dart 9.8SDL3054)

40660 (709D)

I can tell you where 34048/79 came from...Manchester. What they should have done is kept them and sent us 2 Plaxtons instead.

Well who knows if their not low floor I'm not interested lol unless we get some Volvo Olys to replace our remaining Leylands which to be honest are used on schools a majority of the time so it makes little difference anyway lol.

Volvo Olys would sure go to Preston...well, lets see; 1 to Kendal, 3 to Barrow (Leaving 14193..in line with LL and ME), 4 to Carlisle to give the 554 a bit of an upgrade, then the rest to Preston to get rid of the E rgs.

Oh yes that would make a lot more sense. Lancaster's 4 are fine condition wise just ruddy noisy lol as are all the old Olys. I'm just waiting for them to get rid of Kendal's F reg and as you say Mbonwick would make sense to give them an Oly from Manc.

Looking at it, it wouldn't though. Far better off with a Leyland in keeping with the rest of the fleet.
Should LL get the Tridetns from Chorely, 16652-5 should go to Lancaster. 14195/6 and 14197 from store would go to Barrow.
14255 to Kendal, 14257/8 to Barrow. Then;
Lancaster has only Volvos
Kendal has nothing older than J
Barrow has nothing older than H
Lillyhall has nearly all Low Floor deckers, possibly 100% with 16651, 16733/4 spare (to Preston?)

With Manchester getting so many new buses, would it not be more sensible to send the remain Volvo Olympians to Preston Bus, to replace the A & E Reg'd Leyland Olympians. And the W Reg'd Tridents to Lillyhall, to replace their older Volvo Olympians, which in turn could replace the F & H Reg'd Leyland Olympians at Barrow & Kendal!

Also to replace the K Reg'd B10M's, with the R Reg'd ones.

that would be a bad idea! well, if they are the same condition as Carlisle's (Carlisle's coming from Manchester), the K reg's are much better to ride on, and no where near as noisy!
I like how you said that Lillyhall should get some Tridents, but i was told by a stagecoach driver that there's nothing coming into Cumbria from outside the current Stagecoach NW fleet. if anything does come for the 300, it is likely to be ALX400's from Chorley, but we'll just have to see if anything happens.

47617 is on Moorclose Circular 51 today! (side LED was changing from "51 Moorclose" to "51 Circular". when on the usual 3/4, they show "Mirehouse 3" then "Circular 3" for example.)
33168 was on Moorclose Circular 50 this morning, not sure if its still there.
havn't seen any Harrington or Seaton routes at all today.

20195 on the morning Cockermouth X5, and later what i guess is BNG. it said "SL Ltd Contract" on the front & side LEDs.

14234, 14257, 14258 and 20759 on schools this morning.
14234 and 14258 were on this afternoon, didnt see the others.

Morecambe should be receiving some more visitors soon; the first stopover for ex-Manchester B10Ms heading to the Highlands is to be Frenchwood, although it is likely that it will actually be ME due to the lack of space at these depots.
About 18 buses will be heading North, including all the ex-Magicbus examples, although I'm not sure exactly what this means. So far 20947, 20951/3/4 have left Manc.

I always found the R reg B10Ms to be the better of the ones I drove, do we know which of the Highland depots the Manchester examples will be heading to?

Talking of visitors, when I was struck in traffic about 8.35ish in Blackhall Road, about 8 vehicles behind was an UID Stagecoach Solo. Whenever, I drove pass the depot there were no sign of it, so may just been passing through.

33164, 33166, 34212, & 34217 on Town services.
14248 on 530, 18361 on 755, 20705 on 567 then 552's, 20741 on 106.

Yeah, it just took a little longer than first thought to happen

18360 on the 55 back tonight, with non operational CCTV (at least, the driver's monitor was blank)

20547 on a 4. Other than that, pretty normal. 30277s brite-tech has packed up and it's running with window boards. I highly doubt it will be fixed as it only has a few days, a week at most, left.

Doesn't make much difference whe you're on the inside! All you see is black dots which drive you crazy of you're sat near them.

Are there still K reg B10M-55s in the North west? If so, then some ex Fife R reg B10M-55s, and a PS bodied B10M-62, could be soon surplus, and if not required in east scotland, could head south to replace the K reg versions.

There are still about 40 from the K-DAO batch in service throughout the North West.

47060 currently running Harrington 46, which i'm kinda suprised at!!! bit odd that its went from Lowca & Kells to Harrington & Seaton in the middle of a day lol.
40651 and 33168 also on the Harrington & Seaton routes.
both 51 reg solo's on Moorclose Circulars.
16733 on 31, but an Enviro 300 left bus station on that route.
i think it was 20779 on 31A
