they probably will. oh well, they can't be any worse than what they're replacing haha.
it kinda makes sense sending them here though, cos once they arrive, Whitehaven's minibus routes will be all low floor, so they'd end up running the evening services, which you don't really want a newer vehicle on. AFAIK, the evening services in Whitehaven are usually operated by a 709D off the Lowca - Whitehaven - Kells route (service 1).

aye, i thought 47003 and 47004 were replacing the B6's, with 47016 and 47017 coming to Lillyhall.

we'll just have to see what happens, because theres a rumour that 47156, 47157, 47159 and 47160 are being replaced with 04 reg's from Preston. whether or not that happens, we will soon find out...hopefully.

i think it is 40651 running Workington Town Services today. i'd go up to town to check, but too much coursework to rush haha

As I've said before, I have my doubts about those Solos.

47004 arrived with paperwork at Morecambe, 47003s paperwork arrived but no bus. now 004 is back in preston with it, currently working off Fleetwood outstation.

The "in theory" is because things can change at very short notice, eg. if Carlisle were to flood again, then obviously transfers would be directed up there and other movements halted.

That's a dam good idea actually. I remember reading in the paper last year that a young lady in a wheelchair had made a complaint that she couldn't get into work in Lancaster because her bus service (55/55a) was not low riding. Of course she could have just used the 555 but that's not the point lol.

I remember this young lady, she use to use the Carnforth Connect Line 2 Carnforth - Kirkby Lonsdale service, which I was the regular driver.

The service was operated with low floor minibuses. It was withdrawn when Stagecoach extended service 55A to the Kellets about 3 or 4 years ago.

Ever since she has complained regular, about the lack of an low floor bus service in the Carnforth & The Kellets area.

3/4 years ago? I think it's closer to 2, unless more time has slipped by than I realise (and that's quite possible)
I think it was 3 years ago that SC extended the 55 out to Yealand, and then withdrew it again.

Stagecoach are to amend Route and Timetables for services 49/50, 55/55A/55B from 26 July. Please see posting No 1955 above for further details.

I believe that this is in responce to the recent curtailment of the Carnforth Connect Line 1, to run between Carnforth and Yealand only, instead of Milnthorpe.

Nothing massive I wouldn't have thought, the Carnforth Connect never ran all that frequently.

Good man I'll look out for info on which ones next. I assume It'll be 17022/23 then 17017/18/19 but who knows lol. I'm not sure whether or not their going to do the other 2 B10B's.

I think the B10Bs will only be done if the flipdots corrupt themselves to the point of being unfixable.

thanks for that lol, but IIRC, i had a day extra at Christmas.

25225 on 30 today.
33167 started on Moorclose Circular 51, but 47024 is now running that.
33168 is on Moorclose Circular 50.
47616 was at Workington Bus Station this morning not in service.
40445 was out on Harrington & Seaton this morning, not sure if it still is.
i assume 33167 has went onto Harrington & Seaton.

16447 was on school work, and it looks quite decent!!! 14258 was also on school work.
talking of schools, little bit of trouble at sixth form today haha. the Pickthall coach i travel on broke down, and the other buses & coaches had to reverse off school site haha. one of Pickthall's mechanics came out on a replacement coach, which my usual driver drove us home on, while the mechanic attempted to fix my usual coach haha.

Not necessarily. The Tridents may have been having work done on them in the morning, and were out "on test" on the schools.

Generally, I think the reliability of all of Barrow's fleet is poor. IMHO, this has something to do with the lack of facilities at the depot.

Only saw one X35 today, and that had 16334 on it. All the others were running late.

18363 on 755, 20457 on 552, 20705 on 564, and 20979 on 106.

An UID Open-top Titan, as been fitted with LED destination display!!!!

Sure it was a Titan and not a Trident? Was it in standard swoops ore green?
Seems very odd given that this year definitely is their last.
