20129 on "47 SEATON" this morning, think it later went onto "BNG CONTRACT".
33167 was on "Moorclose Circular 51" this morning.
33168 was on "Harrington 46".
this afternoon, one of those 2 were on "Moorclose Circular 50". didnt see what was on 50 this morning.
2 B10m's and a 709d on Workington Bus Station Annexe this afternoon.
a B10m running 31 (time slot usually covered by 25225 or a 56reg dart).

30342 working out of Kendal today. I thought this one went back intoi reserve. I know it acted as a replacement for 20775 when it had its accident but I thought it had gone back where it came from.
its a bit weird that 30342 is in reserve, being low floor.
it was a Stagecoach Western bus, Carlisle had it on loan after the floods, it then went to Merseyside, where the manual roller blinds were replaced with a Bright Tech display. it made its way into Preston's fleet, where it was fitted with LED display. when it came out of service at Preston, the LED was removed and Bright Tech re-fitted.
would be nice if they kept the LED in 33169 if it does get transferred to Lillyhall, but looking at Prestons history of removing LED's, it could end up with its Bright Tech again!

The former PrestonBus fleet is being branded as Citi as they pass through the paintshops.
Thing is, 30342 isn't low floor as such. It rids slightly higher than what we consider low floor and has no kneeling facility or wheelchair space.
AFAIK it was a demonstrator for what the Volvo B6BLE would look like.

Latest news I have;
All the Titans shown as sold have gone to Mike Nash bus sales, with 11100 and 11110 heading the same way.
Next years open top services are looking like;
599 - 17012-6 and 16294
78 (formerly 79, remumbered back in September to avoid a route number clash) - 16393 and 14853
16329 will be refurbished, probably staying as a closed top.

Oh shame about the bad news up in Cumbria. I'm sure its worth the wait though 
I think 20774 has had a repaint as it looks very shiny and has no ads on it at present. 16662 on the 755 today and the normal lot on the D buses. The interior of 14235 is terrible. A large number of seats were on the floor when I got on and most of the seats as a whole are worn, ripped and generally in bad condition. It doesn't matter that much if its just school runs but just shows that this old Leyland has reached its expiry date lol.
If Cumbria isn't getting the deckers from Manchester then where do we reckon they will go?

40001 is out and about with dead display.
16733 went into bus station but didnt see what was on display.
47024 is on Moorclose 50, so 47023 must be the one out of service.

According to a source who in turn has sources at SC head office nobody knows about Whitehaven yet. The new vehicle list hasn't come out of Perth yet so nobody knows what is set to happen.

Are the new Scania deckers at Preston for the X2 getting a big fanfare entrance to service or will they just turn up one Monday once their numberplates are valid?

I've been Told Chorley are due Scania E400's for the 125/6 and the Tridents where going to Preston.
