after finding myself a little bored, i decided to create a paper bus model of a Trident in Lakes Green Livery just to see what it'd look like! here are the pictures from it!

Front & Nearside
Front & Offside
Rear & Nearside
Rear & Offside

The model has been modified by myself from a paper bus model of a Trident in standard corporate livery from PWF Paperbuses. I have used MX55 KPK 18358 as a basis. Note that the text on the displays is not in the same font, as i couldn't be bothered searching through all the fonts to find one similar!

i personally think it looks pretty damn good!

Could not agree with you more, the only thing missing is the route branding on the staircase, like the old Lakes Links Olympians had on them.

Add that to it, then suggest it to Chris Bowles at Stagecoach.

--- old post above --- --- new post below ---

Versa 25230, worked the 14.40 & 18.40 service 89 from Lancaster yesterday.

Just been alerted to the 'alleged fact' that 4 single decker MAN's from Manchester are arriving at Chorley for replacement of the B10's, now i know 20750 and 20130 have already been been withdrawn from use at Chorley, and i am sure we need at least a couple of B10's for capacity on schools, so i cant understand why we would be getting them, apart from maybe one to use as cover for the 109 darts, we certainly wouldn't draft them in just for the late 22's either, not when we have 400's going spare at night..

Anyone heard something similar?

20131 and 20546 on the X1

Don't know the full details, but the school routes involved have low bridges and high loads, MANs may suffice, but with not knowing what the tender specifies (ie 56+ seater etc) i couldn't say either way..

Not much to report,

16663 and 20463 on GS schools as has been mentioned. Other than that, nothing.

in addition to stuff previously mentioned in Carlisle:
20966 on 76.
16338 done 214 at 1645-ish.
20436 on 66.
20977 on 300.
42670 was in bus station with "Bus Station 66" on display. 34048 parked up next to it not in service.
14254 was also in bus station after doing school work.

only saw 1 run of Reays on 75 today, and it was running to Bridge End (Reays show it "75 Dalston, Bridge End" on display) over capacity! all 25 seats taken up, and more than the 8 allowed standee's. they really need to invest in bigger buses! seeing as Stagecoach used Citi Darts or B10Ms!

on a different note, i've heard that a Plaxton Panther has been at Lillyhall from Scotland at some point in the past few weeks for testing on route X5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the latest Stagecoach Manchester fleetcard is states that Volvo Olympians 16184 & 16185 [P484/5 HBA] have moved to Stagecoach North West. These were ex Bullocks vehicles. Has anyone seen them yet, or have I missed something?
Another Bullocks Volvo Olympian movement is 16190 [S960 URJ] to Highlands.

I was in Barrow earlier, which is full of roadworks!!!!
Noted 16331, 16332, 20474 on X35's.
A number of 709D's still in service, including 40447, 40646, & 40327.
Saw the former owner of Princess Coaches (Chris Haworth), driving 47137 at abt 11.55 enroute to the hospital.
