Lillyhall must be quite full at the moment with all these Olys coming from Barrow and a few J regs from Carlisle, B10s and the PB buses too, not to mention the extra flood buses that have landed.

Isn't that just brilliant! I understand the need for maintenance But LL really do need another accessible coach for the X routes!

Do you really expect Stagecoach to fork out over 100K for a "spare" coach? There's no need anyway, the disabled lifts have never been used yet! :roll:

I don't expect them to fork out for anything! Nor was I suggesting that they purchased a new vehicle. Even if they did, it wouldn't be a "spare" as such... how often do you see all four Profiles out on the same day?! Exactly. Back to the real world :roll: A refurbed Kloncky would do me!

From last glimpses to first glimpses ... saw 18138 today in its new livery and very smart it looks too. I think it was in service as well.

I noticed when 18138 and 18139 was in morecambe yard that they had been repainted on the lower panels and skirts and the upper deck hadn`t been touched!

Morecambe is going to be the same when the M-reg B10B/B10M`S are withdrawn, we already have 14543,14201,14245,14193,20452,20744,20748,20731,20762,20802,33166,20774,52063 and 40401 in storage/disposal.

I was just saying to cainebj the other day that Morecambe is currently the busiest I've ever known it.

We found a picture from when 34079 and the Darts now with Fife were in store, and came to the conclusion that the only difference between then and now was:
The type and liveries of buses being stored, and that the line of vehicles streches from 1 corner to the other!

I was just saying to cainebj the other day that Morecambe is currently the busiest I've ever known it.

We found a picture from when 34079 and the Darts now with Fife were in store, and came to the conclusion that the only difference between then and now was:
The type and liveries of buses being stored, and that the line of vehicles streches from 1 corner to the other!

The 4 leyland olys are in the top corner(northgate) with the marshall dart and 4 B10M`s parked up, in the other corner(near the tower) is the training bus(sounds like boxing) and down wreckers row are the remaining B10M`S . I leave the middle for the night lads so they can move buses about at night.

Well we'll have to agree to disagree, but I am there 5 sometimes 6 days a week, and it's not very often that I see anything other than the B7's on X5's.

Woops, yeah they're even more un-accessible after you've had a few drinks in Cockers on a Thursday night :roll: Hahaha. Yeah, you're the one that's "in the know" or so to speak

On another note, I saw you at the bus station this morning Gez while I was getting on the (delayed) 1120 555.

Aye been dragged round Sainsburys, ten to Halton pulled out just as I got there, so that late 555 was very handy

18138 went past quite quickly so I didn't see in great detail - in any case it has to be better than some of the K reg b10s which are a bit worse for wear.

How many B10m`s did barrow refurb? 20762 came down for storage with new seats and flooring but very shabby paintwork.

3 or 4 I think, they stopped halfway through IIRC when they found out they'd be getting replacements.

You should get some pictures of the stored buses jonesy, it may be a very long time before Morecambe is like that again!

9 B10M's were refurbed for Barrow, then 3 of them (20757, 20759 and 20761) were transferred to Lillyhall when Barrow got 20301, 20477 and 20478.

seem to remember them coming here as back-ups for Jonckheere's etc. could be wrong though. the 3 of them were fitted with Tacho's when they came up. they ended up making their way onto the 301's cos the capacity of the Oly's wasn't needed evenings and sundays.

I'm sure Gez will be able to tell me why the 556 I was on this morning had "Not In Service" on ther blinds, the driver getting off and Gez looking like he wanted a word...

Does anyone know why 20952 is still running around West Cumbria with no Fleetnames on thje front and just Stagecoach on the sides, the front looks odd being bare!!!

14208 on the 2 in Bowerham this morning around 9:15. I will miss the Gardner engine when its no longer heard round these parts
