You probably know more of the technicalities than I do, but “wiring up the main backbone to the garage before demolition“ seems curious. The images I have seen suggest the clearance of the site and replacement buildings in different locations plus outside parking. I accept that wiring is needed now and redevelopment takes time, but I will be interested to see how this all plays out. Nevertheless, bring it on, Mansfield is a success story in recent years and needs to keep moving forward.

From what I gathered, they are doing soft stripping right now, and utilities are being worked on as well. From what I've heard, around February they will be doing the big crunch of the bus depot (actually demolishing the building itself), and it should only take around a month to get the chargers installed and the new ground, but not the new building. And Mansfield feels like a very surreal place right now; seeing them actually take effect on buildings and cleaning up the town is very nice to see. The Rosemary Centre is already being semi-demolished, which is visible from the street view, and the Beals Bridge is starting to be removed on the 19th of January.
Will many buses get stored inside, will much of the old garage be untouched?
Didn't know they were doing anything with Hull ? What are they doing there then ?

No idea of plans unlike Mansfield I can't see any online plans
All buses will be stored inside while they're getting soft stripped, but when the main demolition starts, all the buses will be held in a temporary site or different stagecoach locations. All of the old garage will be demolished, with the majority turned into an parking area with a smaller building compared to the new one. This is a picture of what it will look like.
Any plans for how hull depot will look after electrification, like the image attatched for Mansfield

Now I follow the logic in that, but it will be interesting to see how the reallocation etc. progresses. Further, I know we are looking at an illustration, but it implies far fewer parking bays than the depot needs so it will be interesting to see how that pans out as well. It looks like there are 22 charging points and if the bays are accurate per vehicle then they allow 44 Vehicles to be charged. The additional bays are needed to allow manoeuvreing capacity so in total we are less than PVR plus reserves/maintenance etc. Overall, as shown, I do not think it adds up to full capacity needs. We shall see…

For anyone interested in 18164, here's a picture of it at Lincoln bus station having just completed a 544 yesterday afternoon (15.1.26)
It's been tending to do a couple of early morning school runs, then leave Great Northern Terrace around 14:30 - 15:00 to take up either the 544 or a similar school route, and then arrives light at the city bus station after 16:00 or so. Occasionally it then picks up a few evening journeys on one of the public routes around Lincoln.

There is indeed a paint shop at Grimsby depot, yes. All the local allocations (and some others too I believe) have been done here. It faces out towards the dock, not visible from the road.

Has the paint shop reopened at Grimsby? I thought it closed years ago and painting was done at Hull, Scunthorpe and Lincoln.

21266 is 100% withdrawn
It's done the odd repaint since the livery changed to "we've got you", 19533 was the first one it did. It doesn't happen as frequently as painting at the depot's you've mentioned however

I thought so from looking at it. The doubt came in because it's still on the fleet list on Bustimes, albeit showing its last working was November

Tbf bustimes is always late to mark buses as withdrawn thanks to their absolute strictness (sometimes way too strict to the point they disapprove even the most evidenced claims, as happened to quite a few of my friends and myself), so you can't rely on bustimes to know
It like they won’t remove 22758 even though it says on the latest fleet card it has been sold for scrap as the fleet card can sometimes be wrong.
