I've been told by Bedford depot that 36076 is going to Grimsby in exchange for 21228 which will be going back to Fenstanton once it's been repainted.
Do Grimsby have a use for a mini E200?

Possibly it could work the 7 which is now self contained and doesn't seem to carry many folk. 19197 was on it today and certainly wasn't overtaxed when I saw it

No we don’t really, suppose they could use it for the 1/2 circuit but otherwise not really. Think we had one here a few years back maybe 2023, but I cannot remember the Fleet number for it. But hey I’ll be happy with a few E200s running about

I saw 22571 today on driver training for the 4 I think, and then 11195 broke down at Greenwood Ave so there was a temporary diversion which has now cleared on the 5

I hope the additional extra early morning 4 is operating from Cleethorpes to Morrisons and not the other way round. Ridiculous those that start at 6am at Morrisons can’t get there on route 4 yet those on route 3 can, and buses heading to Clee start from Morrisons at 0430

Stagecoach have lost the tender for the 50 from 1st September. It also wouldn't be much use on the 1, 2 or 7 as although loadings are minimal on that all three vehicles normally interwork with school services somewhere.

Enviro 300 27795 is repainted at Lincoln and 27763 at Gainsborough. 11194 is POSSIBLY next for repaint at Hull (I'd have preferred the eyesore of 11192 but eh). 22759 blew on the 1 ages ago so its unlikely to return to service.

That said, I wonder if/when Stagecoach will start replacing these MANs that keep blowing, its happening a lot lately.

Don't know what's happened while it was away, but 19172 was back out in Grimsby today. She did a 1 & 2 board, then the evening peak 12 and is currently doing a 45 as I write this, but it would appear her GPS got stuck in East Marsh at some point!


I forgot how much I like that batch of Enviro 200s until I caught up with 37205 the other day, very nice! Incidentally, she is now tracking well, along with 27644 & 27645

Yeah but the depots transferring the E300s need replacements so thats why E400s have to disperse (idk why SEM isn't looking at other divisions for stock)

There isn’t much to replace the E400s the wouldn’t give electric or modern stock to East Midlands, we just seem to be a dumping ground for older vehicles

Yes they are “Expected” but if you looked at the fleet of SCEM you would find the older buses, I’m not talking about the future I’m talking about now

Wonderful news. The decision that both clockwise and anticlockwise circulars should have always been separate numbers. The fact they were both the same was utterly stupid in my view.

I'd hope that they look at simplifying the services and especially so that they match the Hornsby registration/split points. Hornsby do a simple split reg at Westwoodside. Stagecoach has 4 registrations for it. 1 covering normal evenings and Westwoodside Saturday trips, then the Saturday trips to Doncaster are split at Scunthorpe Tesco and then again at a random stop in Doncaster. God knows why Hornsby can run the 399 under 2 registrations but Stagecoach require 4 (not only a waste but also needlessly complicating the timetable splitting the route in illogical places.

AFAIK moving to Grimsby next year, Gemini's passed their MOT so have an extra year
