Do we know what will replace their operations in SE territory (if anything, as I wouldn't be surprised if this just means short forming a couple of sets)? The paths are now in for 377163 & 164 to return to Southern tomorrow. Whilst not strictly related to 455s retiring (more to do with the next withdrawal).

Possibly 465s. Saw a post on a group on Facebook (forget which one) of a 465 at Ashford sidings a few weeks back for either driver training or familiarisationDo we know what will replace their operations in SE territory (if anything, as I wouldn't be surprised if this just means short forming a couple of sets)?
There have been a few of those yes, so it's possible they might bring a couple of passenger workings back in to increase the familiarisation before a larger cascade once more 377s are expected to go back to Southern. However, as only 2x 377s are leaving Southeastern right now, that's not a big ask to just reduce some formations, especially considering the larger reduction in train lengths on key Southern services with the 455 departure.Possibly 465s. the number of available 377s to diagram drops from 22 to 20 in May and they’re being taken off of the 2K Vic - GLM and replaced by available 465s.There have been a few of those yes, so it's possible they might bring a couple of passenger workings back in to increase the familiarisation before a larger cascade once more 377s are expected to go back to Southern. Makes sense I suppose. Do you know if 465s are running empty stock down the Maidstone East line? I know they've been to Ashford from Grove Park via the SEML.the number of available 377s to diagram drops from 22 to 20 in May and they’re being taken off of the 2K Vic - GLM and replaced by available 465s.
No 465 work on the Maidstone East line for a couple of months yet. Southeastern will keep 11 of the 377/5s in the end.
Diagrams for tomorrow are in message 747 in this thread.Does anyone have any gen about what diagrams the Southern 455s are on today? And what normal service diagrams they will be on tomorrow, their last day?
Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to open the attachment on my phone and I haven't got a laptop with me. My smartphone is two and a half years old and it's not an iPhone so probably not sophisticated enough to be able to open Microsoft Excel files.Diagrams for tomorrow are in message 747 in this thread.
The lone 455 at Selhurst depot is 455814. It was meant to go out paired with 455801 today but unfortunately 5801 had a minor brake defect so is not out today and may not return to service.Plenty of 455s out and about today. Just clocked my last two of the day (5808 and 5844) on the 2J44 Caterham to London Bridge. Out of interest, does anyone know the identity of the lone 455 sitting at Selhurst Depot?

Incidentally there are also a number of sets (3 I think) parked in the down sidings at Horsham. 455812 is the end unit, I did not catch the others.
From the diagrams 2K14 is the 0906 London Victoria to West Croydon via Crystal Palace which is part of diagram SL512 on the plan in message 747, and therefore booked for a 455 tomorrow.I would like to take the service stopping at Crystal Palace after seeing the tour service depart. The diagram is confusing to me.

455812 was in service this morning but returned to Stewart’s Lane after the morning peak. 455837 was paired with it so I assume that’s one of the other units with it.
Thanks. Looks like I will have to stand at platform 9 then to see the tour train go out. From the diagrams 2K14 is the 0906 London Victoria to West Croydon via Crystal Palace which is part of diagram SL512 on the plan in message 747, and therefore booked for a 455 tomorrow.
The next train from Victoria via Crystal Palace is 2F18 0920 London Victoria to London Bridge which is not listed so won't be a 455, neither is
2K16 0936 London Victoria to West Croydon, but 2F20 0950 London Victoria to London Bridge is part of diagram SL504
Some timings were there last night and all are now.No you’re not being thick. It hasn’t been uploaded onto NR systems yet and I don’t think they will until the day of the tour.
One pair went to Coulsdon Town (vice Caterham) owing to late running this morning.Anyone who was hoping to catch a 455 to Tattenham Corner but missed out, you’re in luck tonight. According to a reliable source, 5832 and 5818 are set to work an an additional return service from London Victoria to Tattenham Corner. Reason is currently unknown.
2P55 20:03 London Victoria to Tattenham Corner (all stations up to Coulsdon Town)
2P56 21:45 Tattenham Corner to London Victoria (stopping pattern currently unknown)
Maybe its a back-up in case the tour train failsHi, is this a storage move tommorow? Thanks

That’s a shame, I had 5801 last night and it certainly was a fine unit. Though 5817 was just that little bit better! The lone 455 at Selhurst depot is 455814. Just 455811 on the 2B04!5829 + 5811 have broken down at Wandsworth Common working 2B04 06.02 VIV-EPD (I think) so stopping services are using FL. Hope tour isn't delayed too much
Platform 10 earlier. If anyone sees/knows where they've dragged 5811 off to in disgrace, please let me know!
Will go into Stew Lane and probably be expedited for departure to Newport. Gather the units with the most mileage left on them will go to Horsham and other undisclosed locations prior to scrap runs.Platform 10 earlier.
