Glad to hear that. Always makes such a difference when it feels like they aren’t just judging you but are actually want you to do well!
They just wanted me to do my best, they definitely wasn't judging me but taking me for who I am, as an employee but also as a human being.

When will you hear from them? Were you crazy nervous when you got in the room?
I was nervous of course thats natural, but they put me at ease straight away, they just want you to do your best, thats all they ask.

I didn't look at any of the practice material for VSE, the VSE on the day took me by surprise but passed it. Don't get flustered by the errors, try to keep your composure and remember the primary task.
Thank you!! Congratulations btw!! How long did it take for them to get back to you to tell you, you passed ?

I don’t think it’s something you can really practice.
Remember to read the instructions carefully (very carefully) and don’t panic, remain calm and carry on if you make a mistake.
I made quite a few mistakes but still passed
Thank you 2 !! Congratulations aswell! How long before they got back to you?!

Your told pretty much within 30 mins of finishing the tests that you’ve passed or not.
Half of the attendees had been told to go home after the first batch of tests.

Mmi passed last Wednesday, I prepared for both so I didn't find either hard to be honest.

If you've passed the MMI then you won't have to do that again.

If you read the forums, people say the MMI is very difficult. But I found that this wasn't the case. I think this is a combination of the South Eastern staff being very calming and good at their job and the fact I was very prepared for it.
With the MMI, you will know the questions ahead of time so you should be very prepared for this.

I would say the DMI was harder purely because it took a hell of a lot more work to be prepared for it. You get given a lot of information to read through and you need to do your own research as well.

If you don't prepare, you will fail. Simple as that. So spend as much time as you can preparing and you will be fine.

Spot on advice, if you prepare your answers for the MMI properly including safety, following rules and procedures, remaining calm under pressure and customer service to each answer you will pass.

DMI I found was more a case of having to remember and recite so much information.

If you get to that stage the one thing I kept telling myself was, "They want to employ me"

Got my DMI at ashford tomorrow, quite nervous but also excited for it! I’ve pretty much memorised the TPWS sheet word for word and done a bunch of research into the company. Just going to keep preparing as much as I can and hope for the best!

Brilliant mate, fingers crossed for you buddy.
Passed it!! Got my MMI in a few months now so plenty of time to prepare. Have you heard back about yours?

Nerves are normal. If the interviewers are anything like the Dartford ones, the nerves will dissapear. TPWS sheet is important as is the research so as long as you answer the interview questions themselves good, you should do great!

The role of a Train Driver also, sounds like you've prepared well, you'll be absolutely fine, I researched so much into Southeastern and didn't even get to say all of it.

Good luck.

Thank you! I forgot to mention but I’ve done a lot of research into the role of the driver, all their rolling stock and their London terminals/routes they serve, just need to make sure I remember it all haha
