Ok cheers, did you use the star method to answer or did you just answer your own way?
Well I didn't specifically think to myself at each answer to make sure I followed the format, but I've filled in so many applications in the last year I pretty much
think in the STAR format now! As long as you talk through your answers with an obvious "this is the situation I'm using for an example, this is what happened, this is what I did and this was the outcome" then you'll pretty much have nailed it. I mean that's pretty much how you'd tell your mate a story. Just keep in mind that you mention the
why of your actions, and how your action related to safety etc.
I should remind you that I'm no expert, this was my first attempt, so I don't have a fail to refer back to in terms of anything I did differently this time around. I think they just want to see how you think, are you safety focused, are you conscientious, can you learn, do you make rational decisions in critical situations.
