It always seems strange to me to have the MMI last, as it counts as part of the psychometrics, so it's better to have that first, in my opinion. Good luck with it, you've passed the DMI, which means you're the right kind of person for the job
In addition, I would say learn some facts and figures about the company, depot locations, important people, understand how it operates, what SE has been doing recently in terms of improvements, train overhauls etc. Also, make sure you really put in the effort to memorise the information they give you about whatever technical train system it is now.

Not sure if anyone can lend any advice here but has assesments ✅ and had MMI ✅ all passed with flying colours. Are these the harder parts to pass?

Now to say I'm absolutely buzzing is an understatement a life changing career litterally! Can anyone lend any advice to the DMI process in meeting two of the driver trainers, I'll swat up on the TPWS system as been told a big part of the DMI is based around this?

As in my reply above to someone one, I would say learn some facts and figures about the company, depot locations, important people, understand how it operates, what SE has been doing recently in terms of improvements, train overhauls etc. Also, make sure you really put in the effort to memorise the information they give you about whatever technical train system it is now - it was TPWS when I did it, it might have changed. But they will send you a sheet of information, so learn what it has on it.
Beyond that, there's a little of of "Tell us about a time when you…" type questions, and the rest is about you, and just selling yourself to them

Hoping the Hastings depot, just really hope don't choke at the last hurdle now been waiting so long
I’ve been with SE for a a year and a half now, and it certainly is a life changing career, all I’d say regarding DMI to be honest, is the only company information they kind of expect is general knowledge of the company, I.E, where SE operates, such as Kent, London and East Sussex, how many stations, ammount of staff, this can ALL be found on SE main website on information.
They don’t expect you to know what the company’s structure is and anything to do with depots, all they are testing is you have put in the effort to research the company, MEMORIse The TPWS sheet, as they literally tick off how much info you retain and give back to them (memory test)
Other then that,have a good reason for wanting the job, not “I want the responsibility” an answer as simple as I think driving trains would be awesome (my answer I gave) is more honest and truthful, they want no bs, and to make sure your for for the job,
So again, don’t go in there with an overload of information regarding how the company operates and what it’s been up too recently unless you seriously understand it, as stuff like that can open you up down a road you don’t know the rest of the answers too,
Hope you do well, don’t stress, be honest and learn some bits, they will teach you the rest.

Hi, just wondering how long it usually takes for people who pass the assessment centre to get their medical booked. I passed on October 17th and I’m still waiting.
You won't get that untill after you've passed the DMI and been given start date etc

fav’s , recruitment has finished for a fair while we’ve hit our numbers till someone retires now. If your in catchment for gills/dover or Ashford id put your name in for them as they are recruiting for more
I live in Herne Bay so Gillingham and Dover are too far, I’d probably say Ashford at a push. I wouldn’t mind the travel but I guess you’d need to live closer to the depots
Gillingham for me, hoping to get DMI call up sometime in January as need to give 2 months notice to my current employer.
How do you know so much?
I am a driver at fav, hence I know. Gills drivers are still going ahead and will be on course’s starting from April 26.

Ramsgate is best option currently but again they’ve just taken a load of drivers on but think they are still taking more on from May next year. Only asking out your name for the others as it’s a foot in the door quicker, then apply to transfer

I've not no. It was the online assessment I have completed. Do the do the assessment days in Ashford now then? Not Tonbridge?
I believe they switched from Tonbridge to Ashford for assessments earlier this year.
Yes indeed, much nicer at Ashford than at the draughty old place at Tonbridge!

I had 2 birthdays inbetween taking the online tests to the actual assessment centre last month.
