466041 is still in traffic.
466009 was sent for scrap on 13-02-2025

I'm not sure what the legitimacy of that is but there was clearly an issue. 466025 was meant to be taken, it has had its shoegear removed.

466037 was finished after catching fire at Bearsted back in October so has been out of action since then. I'm not sure if it was declared damaged beyond repair or was awaiting parts until a decision was made to start scrapping 466's, but it has clearly been used as a parts donor since then.

I think 004 was last in service in 2023 before it went to store. It did go to scrap with 009.

There's another move today (Mon) from Worksop to Ely Papworth - is this a retry from Friday with 466033 & 466043 or different Units I wonder?

5Q46 09.45 Worksop Up Receptions to Ely MLF Papworth Sidings - Cancelled around 11am

It seems 466033 and 466043 finally made it to Ely yesterday (11/3) following failure on Friday and RTT is showing another move from Worksop Weds 12/3 5Q46 to Ely Papworth so more networkers on the move as Worksop is cleared out??

Unfortunately, some people will no doubt be seeing it as trophy hunting, helped by Southeastern effectively advertising which sidings it will be in each night.

You may be right but I thought these two were already at Ely? (also per Trainlogger) Not sure when they may have moved though.

The unit was repaired and was used in service again after the axlebox fire. The parts taken were only just before the disposal move.

I don't think the pictures should be posted online at all, it gives the vandals exposure which is what they want.

Are Southeastern actually planning to bin off all the 466s akin to SWR binning off the 456s? This would explain both why only 466s have gone to scrap so far, including ones still on SE metals, even though there are 465s that haven't been operated for almost 4 years still in storage.

Are all the 466s going as there's some 8 and 4 car Networker services running now that really could do with being 10 or 6 again with increases in passengers.

466s going to Ely Papworth sidings from Worksop rather than direct to scrap maybe just a stop gap if Worksop is now being cleared?
