I'm very excited to see this in person again, shame about the doors remaining grey but that's for accessibility reasons which is fair.

Some things don't change. I remember those window seals being missing 25 years ago. I recall when the 465s started running to Maidstone replacing the slam doors. They were already looking tatty. Are the 465/9s easier to clean or just get more attention?
Have a look at the fittings such as window seals, grills, plastic edges etc and the /9s seem cleaned at least regularly. The rest seem to go without cleaning for months if not years. I'm not talking about left over crisp packets for example but grot that gets in corners, nooks and crannies and stays forever on most of the fleet. The /9s though avoid much of this. Can panels be removed this easier to clean beneath and around?
Today typifies it. The 465/1 had no window seal left pretty much and grime stuck along the base of the window where a seal should be plus some suspicious stuff (looked like yoghurt or even vomit) all around the vents. Appeared to be there for a long time. Loads of hairs stuck around it. The 465/9 after was spotless around the vents at foot level where the heating is located and panels generally clean all over. Massive contrast but common to see.
Very nice. Looks like a decal is being applied under one of the windows?Looks like the stickers are on(Just seen this being sent about)
Is it the standard Southeastern logo?It also now has Southeastern branding in the usual place. It looks excellent.
I don’t know if it’s just me but I don’t see any text there? It appears so
I just see a reflection of something on the wall tbh...I don’t know if it’s just me but I don’t see any text there?
It's non reflectance scrubbing i believe for a decal later onI can see it on the far left of the reflection
@NSEWonderer Would you be able to confirm the presence of SE branding?

Does anyone know if the cant line is required?
The original never had this.
Old logo, presumably what they had lying spare. Will be re-done into a full SE livery in due courseis it the old logo as applied to 377121/122 or have they put the new logo on?
No scrap moves have shown up, while the Leicester and Laira-related 175 drags have, so it looks like no scrap moves are planned this week.Path in for a Loco on Monday, expect a scrap move on Tuesday and maybe Thursday.

The is going up to Charing cross as an eight car. It detaches, leaving 465908 at Charing cross for the event. The other part then leaves for Grove Park.
The 465/9's & 466's in service have had a C6 overhaul at Wabtec Doncaster that includes removing and cleaning of these. Are the 465/9s easier to clean or just get more attention?

The new Southeastern logo has 'South' in white so wouldn't work on white bodyside. The 'old' one has 'South' in blue on white bodyside.Old logo, presumably what they had lying spare. Will be re-done into a full SE livery in due course
Yes the last C6 overhaulSo annoying that they’ve gone for a /9 though! The one subclass that didn’t exist in NSE days! I’m assuming that they picked a /9 because they’re being overhauled at the minute?
There are multiple versions of the updated SE logo with different colours. The Southeastern website has version intended for use on a white background. The new Southeastern logo has 'South' in white so wouldn't work on white bodyside. The 'old' one has 'South' in blue on white bodyside.
So, "tomorrow"Tuesday 25th Feb is the planned date for the event. Last i heard.
