Thameslink could have added a pink forward Slash “/“ atleast on each of the carriages to give the trains some colour. They just all look so dirty now.

A few of the GWR turbos have been running round unfinished in plain doom green without the stripes and stickers. I personally thought they looked smarter than the fully branded turbos.

Now I've seen it, the WMR livery looks a little bit similar to the XC 170 livery with the boundary between colours at the front end.

Get rid of the Spots in the SpotRail livery. The units which are to go back south are in a plain blue, which actually looks much cleaner.

Been a while since I've done anything like this in Photoshop so it's a little bit rough around the edges, but, how about fitting the Class 483's with modern headlights :D

I'd teak the front of EMT's Class 43 powercars, so that the yellow ran to the bottom of the vallance and the blue covered the first bulb of the lights, the same format as GWR (GREEN) HSTs effectively, just different colours. This would give a more modern appearance.

It's funny how that doesn't look "wrong" because that was their original design. Their current style has been very smartly done though. A thrown-in-there-to-make-it-compliant panel almost always looks worse than one where they've designed the front pattern around it, or where there's a clear "place" for it (see: the 700s; the 707s look weird with it going up around the windows as well).

What about the Northern Class 333's and Class 321's (Pre-Full blue livery) would look like without the red base, but instead the standard blue.

The 333 certainly looks better with no red!

I'm actually quite intrigued to see how the new livery looks on the 333s. I just can't quite see it myself! But given I think they are the last to get refurbed due to them already meeting PRM etc. I suppose we might be waiting a couple of years to see one!

Unless (given the current approach of Arriva to refurbing and repainting stock) they do the internal and external separately in which case we might get one sooner?

Now how about a full yellow front...

Very nice.

I'm sure I remember someone doing the DLR in the TfL livery with DLR accent colour and it looked very nice. Heck, most variants on the TfL livery with accent colour look very nice.

Did I say very nice enough yet?
