Should our lockdown have been harsher/stricter?

London and South East England... we have the largest population density in Europe.

I was perhaps questioning the density of the population, and not just how closely packed we are...

What's your source for this? Suburbs of Paris are far more dense than suburbs of London (~25000 per square km in the densest parts of Paris compared to ~16000 per square km in the densest parts of London).
