Having finally caught up on the bulk of admin that had been overdue since end of June 2026 (still plenty more to do but I’ve made epic progress, almost literally burning the midnight oil), I can finally reveal my latest station scores. I can’t immediately recall when the last one was before my recent ones, so it must have been a while!

Not that far off completing the stations in the former Strathclyde Daytripper area too now, I have some fact-checking to do on my wants list for stations but I’m of the belief there’s 5 or less to go. I also need to add the likes of Reston and multiple other stations to my wants list yet too, a job for another day.
20 ScotRail stations ticked on this trip, I can’t complain about that. I think I’m on either 79 or 81 stations to go on the ScotRail network now, very pleased with that. I’ll probably never get to all of them of course, however I plan to do as much as I can before the 156s and 158s are withdrawn in how many years time that ends up being. That may be a long way off yet, I am aware, but that’s the goal.
In terms of where I’ll focus my next station visits, that might well be elsewhere in the Midlands. I do have my sights on the Cambrian Coast line as well, although I’d not say no to North Wales now that the school holidays are nearly over!
