Wow I'll say. Excellent. I live close by and photographed it on multiple occasions - but never done it!

Totally agree Alistair. As I have to go by train and alight and then board a different service Salwick poses a problem for me with its peak hour only service. Still there are still plenty in Greater Manchester to keep me going I am not too concerned.

There is a 7 minute move to/from Preston in the evening, arrives 17:55 departs 18:02.
