Moving on from Carshalton .....

The dramatic west end gallery at All Saints Parish Church, which accommodates the large three manual Willis organ, was designed by the Anglo-Catholic architect Sir John Ninian Comper (1864 – 1960). Another of his works (from 1936 to 1938) can be seen at St Philip's Church at Cosham near Portsmouth, which features a highly original plan with a centralised altar.
