Were there not some dwellings there in days of yore?Hmmm - Norsworthy seems to have a bridge and a car park. You would see lots of walkers there and maybe some campers, but I don't see any sign of a settlement!
Looks like we recently had this settlement, in post 41472There is what looks like a small farm there on the 1885 map, but only ruins now. There don't seem to be any rules about what counts as a settlement so let's keep the game going:
Norsworthy Bridge is at the head of the Burrator reservoir - the dam at the foot is near the village of Sheepstor, Devonshire.
Norsworthy in Devon also lies on the line of the River Meavy.
Do you mean Leyland, Lancashire, please? The Anglican Church in Leyburn is St Matthew's?Leyburn in North Yorkshire also has a church that is dedicated to St Andrew.
