Two ancient hoards of gold decorative items have been found in Snettisham, one of 180 gold torcs dated to the Iron Age and the other of Roman era jewellery and jewellers materials. Four gold torcs of similar age to the Snettisham ones were found at Blair Drummond in Perthshire.

Irish naming is a bit complicated and I don't understand it very well. Killegland is a township and civil parish and is associated with the irish name Cill Dhéagláin, which also covers the town of Ashbourne, not to be confused of course with the town of Ashbourne in Derbyshire. I hope that's a lot clearer!
