George Hay Morgan (1866 – 24 January 1931) was a British Liberal Party politician. He was born in the town of Hay-on-Wye, Breconshire, in 1866.

He was elected Liberal MP for Truro, Cornwall in the Liberal landslide of 1906 replacing the Liberal Unionist MP Edwin Durning-Lawrence.

On 26th February 1935 in a field near Weedon Bec Arnold Wilkins and Robert Watson-Watt first demonstrated the basic principle of radar by showing that an aircraft could reflect the short wave (11 to 21MHz) radio waves transmitted from the Borough Hill transmitter near Daventry, and that this could be detected on the ground about eight miles away.

The Reverend Sir Thomas Miller, the 6th Baronet, became a Church of England Priest and the Vicar of Froyle in 1811. He had had an elder brother, John Miller, who died in 1804, so in 1816 he inherited the family seat, Froyle Place, becoming both Vicar and Lord of the Manor of Froyle. As well as Froyle, he inherited and was Lord of the Manors of Ludshott (about which nothing is known), which he sold in 1825 for £17,000, and Fishbourne in West Sussex, which he sold to Edward Stanford.

Sir Brian Stapylton, 2nd Baronet (c. 1657 – 23 November 1727), of Myton Hall in Yorkshire, was an English Tory politician who sat in the English and British House of Commons between 1679 and 1715.

At the 1690 English general election, Stapylton was returned as MP for Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire, which had been his father's seat.
