Baverstock in Wiltshire also has a church that is dedicated to St Editha.
The several "...zoy" villages near Bridgwater, including the above one, would appear to crop up quite often in this game. The only thing which comes to my mind concerning them, seems always to be: their having been the epicentre of the disastrous rebellion in 1685, led by James Scott, Duke of Monmouth (1649 -- 85); who hoped to replace his uncle James II, as King. The Duke (who comes across per what I've read, as a complete waste of space) was Charles II's (probably) eldest illegitimate son, by one of his many mistresses: Lucy Walter. The lady concerned, was born at Roch Castle near Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.Westonzoyland, Somerset is also on the route of the Macmillan Way West, a long-distance footpath
