Worsley in Greater Manchester also has a braided road interchange.
Schoolboy humour about the naming-theme of this patch of Dorset, can get tedious; but is often hard to resist. As with: the microbrewery in Piddlehinton which proudly calls itself the Piddle Brewery. Breweries' choosing perceivably "dodgy" names for themselves, is not altogether uncommon -- presumably, reckoned worth it for the sake of drawing people's attention. In similar case was the -- sadly, recently closed down -- Bad Seed Brewery in Malton, North Yorkshire.Piddlehinton in Dorset also lies on the line of the River Piddle.
Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834 -- 92), celebrated Baptist divine / preacher / minister, preached his first sermon in public in Teversham in the winter of 1850 / 51. He was born in Kelvedon, Essex.Teversham in Cambridgeshire was also once administered by the Hundred of Flendish.
