Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan also has a church that is dedicated to All Saints.
Trust me to pick the wrong Broomfield.... that has now been struck-through.Being pedantic here; but Kent has two Broomfields. As I read matters, one is linked with Blean and Seasalter, as above; but that near Leeds Castle, is the other Broomfield -- some twenty miles west-south-west, and some way inland.
Loose in Kent was also once administered by the Hundred of Maidstone.Museums on strange themes: Southport has, as we know, a lawnmower museum. Leeds Castle -- nearest settlement Broomfield, Kent -- a little way east of Maidstone: has a dog-collar museum. (We had Leeds Castle and Broomfield not quite a month ago; but, I take it, "no problem".)
