York also has an urban legend attached to it, that you can shoot certain people with a longbow at certain times of the day.

Sorry - the genuine Stilton Cheese is made only in Derbyshire and the Vale of Belvoir in Leicestershire & Nottinghamshire.

It was originally transported to the Great North Road at Stilton in Cambridgeshire, from whence it received its name. It was sold in the coaching inns in Stilton and transported via the Great North Road north and south.
